Why would you want to see all your friends that are offline? You also don’t get to see people in the list you have made. The old chat system was working fine and it was not in your face all the time.

Here is how to see your friends listed as before.

Steps to See Offline and Online Friends on New Facebook Chat:

Log in to Facebook.

  • Open up a new tab/window. If you are already logged in just move on to the next step.
  • Go to this LINK (official Facebook chat link)
  • Now you would see your listed friends as you saw them before.
